Sara and I went to Portland yesterday to do a small display in Monticello's "fountain". It was a sunny day, the grass fields along I-5 were verdent green, the young lambs were frolicking and it was finally warm. So we took up cement bunnies, real spring grass in galvanized tubs, ball blue jars with demure nests and eggs in them and fresh flowers! Because we felt we should honor the real Spring in Oregon we hung an umbrella above it with tissue flowers and crystal rain drops. It was a fun display and the customers agreed. Everybody is so ready for spring... in Oregon and across the country too. This is a happy reminder that it is on its way!
